Amy, Annabelle + Levi - Coffee Creek and Indiana Dunes National Park Chesterton, IN

I've been doing various portrait sessions with Amy for a while. I've known her even longer...since HS actually. Satellites unite! Yes....the....mighty satellites.... (cue embarrassment). Amy is one of those people that radiates strength. She mothers her children with a fierce love that is tender, empowering and nurturing. She isn't one to submit to life's curveballs.

Amy is the type to stand rock solid amidst incredible storms. She has proved that recently. This session was so inspirational. We had a plan in place for location. We met at Coffee Creek to do some portraits and they turned out so happy and full of vibrant colors. Then our plan was to head to the beach for more of a lifestyle/documentary feel. As we are rolling up the fog was INCREDIBLE. Like can't see 20 feet in front of you incredible. I feel like God saw the story we were trying to tell and orchestrated the most perfect scene that we never could have planned on. One that was STRONG. And soft. And uncertain yet sure. Amy and I left it feeling absolutely awestruck. 

Like I've said a million times over....and will CONTINUE to say....I don't want a photo to just be pretty. I want the images to FEEL. This felt y'all. It felt real hard.
